Caledon in the Overberg is famous for it’s colourful wheat, canola and barley landscape, its history and natural warm mineral springs. The Caledon are in the process of putting together other special “Real Deal” value-added packages including travel, wine and dine events, live shows, and Spa pamper nights. And, with the overwhelmingly positive response similar shuttle trips are planned for other parts of the Overberg including the Elgin Valley (Grabouw), Greyton, Kleinmond, and Botrivier and possibly as far afield as Somerset West and Cape Town too. The official launch, the “Real Deal’s” maiden voyage, took place on Wednesday, 28 May 2014.
